For Kallastyos LBM : Chic Academe.

The brief was:

Your first challenge relates to a made-up academy for the older teen (between the ages of 17-21). This private college demands each student to wear a uniform, however the deans of the school are having trouble picking which uniform to use.

Your challenge is to design that uniform for the school. The uniform must at least have a jacket and something worn under it, whether it being a dress or a top and pants/skirt. The outfit may not look vulgar and must look chic *yet youthful.* You are designing for an average eighteen year old, nonetheless. Innovate with the silhouette of the outfit... us judges do not want to see boring.

I picked red and black rather than the blue alot go for. Black is better suited to a business world to which these students will go into one day, the red for some life to the black.

For the winter, a long black trench coat with red clasps. Over a black knee length skirt and white top (shown in the all year) with black boots.

For the summer, knee length black shorts, a white blazer with red trim over a white top (same as shown in the all year), with flat black shoes.

The all year is composed of the top that features in both the summer and winter, here it is shown with out a jacket and with the summer shorts and shoes.

No shirt, I have to wear them and find them uncomfortable on a hot day so I choose to do a t-shirt top instead with the option of a trench coat for winter or a blazer in the summer. Also a choice of a skirt or knee length shorts - depending on personal choice.
